Submit news, scoops, films to be reviewed
Have you got any scoops, promotional material or other information you would like to share? The editors can be contacted here in English, Français, Deutsch, Italiano & Nederlands. Please use this e-mail address to obtain the street address if you would like to send snail mail; packages, films to be reviewed etc. We cannot guarantee that everything will be placed -- especially in the news section, though we can guarantee that every European feature film (of at least 70 minutes and from 2002 or later) will be reviewed sooner or later -- depending on our busy schedule!

FAQ: When does film X come out in my country? / Why is film X labelled as (2005) when it came out in my country in 2004?

The information about release dates on this site always refers to the commercial theatrical release date in the producing country, which may sometimes be later than other territories. Mike Leigh's Vera Drake, for example came out in the United States in 2004 to qualify for the Oscars, but came out in early January 2005 in the UK, the producing country. The film is thus mentioned as Vera Drake (2005) and its release date as 7 January 2005.The theatrical release dates in other countries than the producing country can be found in local cinema listings as well as on IMDb. On every film page in IMDB, in the left-hand menu under "release dates" you will find many (though not all) countries listed with their respective release dates, though these are sometimes inaccurate. Your surest best is to ask your local distributor or cinema.
