European Films

Some trailers from the European south have been added to european-films.net's trailer database. First up is the frothy French romantic comedy Ensemble, c'est tout (Hunting and Gathering), the new film from Claude Berri with star actors Audrey Tautou and Guillaume Canet (review, trailer). From Italy comes the trailer for the political coming-of-age story Mio fratello è figlio unico (My Brother is an Only Child) from Danielle Luchetti, with local sex symbols Elio Germano and Riccardo Scamarcio as the two brothers of the title (review, trailer). Also from Italy and also a film that was presented at the recent Cannes Film Festival is Centochiodi (One Hundred Nails), reportedly the last film from Italian Palme d'Or winner Ermanno Olmi. The film stars Israeli actor Raz Degan as a philosophy teacher in crisis (trailer). Last but not least, from neighbouring Spanish comes the trailer for the delicious period sex comedy Inconscientes (Unconscious), set in the roaring twenties in Barcelona. The film has just come out on DVD in the US (review, trailer).
