EFA 2007 - European Film AwardsThe European awards season is officially under way again with the release of the 2007 longlist for the European Film Awards (EFAs). Over 40 films from 26 countries have been deemed eligible by the European Film Academy for its 2007 awards. In the coming weeks, the members of the Academy will get a chance to vote in the different categories which will lead to the definitive list of nominations that will be revealed early November at the Sevilla Film Festival of European Film, much like last year. The European film prizes will be handed out in a ceremony in Berlin on December 1. Links in titles are to reviews on european-films.net where available.
